WP_20150721_001I happened to be at the Macquarie Centre in Sydney yesterday and by chance found the Mecca Maxima store. My Mum (who was visiting) and I were in heaven. It was the very first time that I had seen the Urban Decay range – I was so excited like a kid in a candy store. Mum and I were looking at the Naked Basics range for her but the sales assistant suggested she look at the Too Faced range as well. It was incredible to see how the eyeshadows swatched so differently on our skin – like chalk and cheese.

Not only were the products in store beautiful but the real stand out of the visit was the staff. They couldn’t do enough to help. They were knowledgeable, polite and above all really tried to find the right product that suited your skin tone. There was no pushiness to purchase at all which I really appreciated and felt like I was almost having a mini consultation. When I asked the lady in question if she wanted to go and put the sale through for my Mum so that she could have acknowledgement for the sale she was very quick to tell me that they do not work on commission at Mecca Maxima and in her words ‘I am purely here to help you’. It was so refreshing.

I was planning on purchasing online, but, had another look when I got home and noticed that the range is definitely larger in store. But for me the advice you get is invaluable in store. So if you are looking to purchase and have a store near you I would strongly recommend you go and take a look. Overall it was a fabulous shopping experience right down to the beautiful packaging.
