I bought this nail polish a couple of months ago when I first stopped getting shellac on my nails. I really loved the colour, it is such a pretty coral with a hint of gold shimmer. The shimmer definitely shows up more in the bottle though than it does on your nails. The colour is perfect for spring and summer and I can’t wait to wear it more over the coming months.

At first I thought the formula was a little bit gloopy but it actually isn’t. What this polish does require though is a healthy, smooth base to start on. A few of my nails were still recovering from having shellac when I put it on, and even with a ridge filling base coat (I used Essie’s) I found that nearly every imperfection could be seen on the first coat. The brush is really nice and gives good coverage, it dries pretty quickly and levels itself out really well. To get the same kind of opaqueness as the bottle colour you need at least two coats. I then used the Revlon Diamonds Top Coat that is recommended. The combination give a lovely shine to this polish. To try and get the longevity out of it I used the Sally Hansen Mega Shine on top of the Revlon top coat. I did get my first chip within 48hrs, but to note I haven’t been using any rubber gloves for a while which I think contributed to this. Overall, a great gel polish that I would highly recommend.
