The Zoeva Nude Spectrum palette has become my ultimate nude eye shadow palette, and that is a big statement! Seeing as my makeup looks are all about soft, neutral colours I am totally obsessed with it. There are 15 gorgeous colours included, that range from intense mattes, to gorgeous satin and shimmers. Not only am I totally in love with the colours of this palette, but the texture and pigmentation is beyond words. It would have to be the creamiest, softest and most buttery brand that I have ever used. To me they are absolute perfection. There are a multitude of colour combinations that can come out of this palette, from subtle barely there daytime to all out evening glam.
The shadows come in a case that is soft and sleek, almost a rubber like texture which in theory is great, but in reality not so much. I love how slimline it is which makes it great for travel, but the outside can get dirty very quickly and even with a wipe the marks don’t come off. I would have also liked it if the pans of colour had been slightly more embedded into the packaging, as what comes with soft, buttery shadows is that they can crumble a bit when swirling your brush, which in turn causes a bit of fallout around the colour and can mix into the others around it. But these are only very small negatives.
Swatchs below start at the bottom of the palette and go left to right:
Each swatch above was one swipe of colour which really highlights the intensity of these eye shadows.
For the price I think this palette is exceptional value for money as every shadow is a colour that can be used. It is also cost effective as a little goes a very long way with this palette. All in all, if you are looking for a new palette this would have to be your next choice.
Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette $43.80 – I purchased my palette through Beauty Bay but shipping took just over 3 weeks. I would recommend paying for tracked shipping if you are wanting it to arrive faster rather than the free shipping option.
