I recently discovered Tanya Burr on YouTube and instantly fell in love with her approach to makeup. I love wearing makeup in a natural way that doesn’t look overdone and this is something Tanya manages to achieve so well – so I was beyond excited when I realised she has her own makeup line, Tanya Burr Cosmetics, and that it is so affordable! I loved her latest collection – Natural Ambience so to try them out I bought two of her eyeshadow palettes and 3 of her lipsticks (I know I went a bit crazy as I couldn’t decide) – I got all of them for $55 including postage from the UK. And I have not been disappointed at all.

The packaging chosen is just so beautiful, nicer than other ranges that cost a whole lot more. I love how on the back of the palette packaging, there are some instructions on how to use the palette and put a look together. I will say that these are not the most pigmented shades that I have, but to me that doesn’t matter, because I love a soft everyday look and am happier to actually build up the colour intensity to how I like it, rather than putting on too much and having to blend out like a demon to get rid of it!

My Escape Eyeshadow Palette

This is a gorgeous khaki based palette with two soft shimmer shades and two matte shades.

New perspective (top left) – is a soft peach shimmer colour which is gorgeous on its own as a light sweep across the eye or to be used as a highlight colour.

Wild jungle (top right) – this is a gorgeous khaki green shimmer colour with a hint of gold.

Tree tops (bottom left) – a lovely soft khaki/brown matte shade perfect to use in the crease to add some definition.

Master plan (bottom right) – a deep brown that is perfect to use as a liner or to make a smokey eye.

My Paradise Eyeshadow Palette

A warm rose gold toned palette with 3 shimmer shades and 1 matte shade. When I swatched these shades they all looked similar on my wrist, but definitely look different when applied on the eye and in the palette.

Champagne cocktail – a peach rose gold shimmer shade.

Tranquility – a deep bronze hued shade that is gorgeous in the crease, outer corner to add depth or all over the lid.

Miami sunrise – this is a good mix between the top two shades and isn’t as deep as Tranquility. I love this shade all over the lid.

Hammock – a matte light latte brown colour that is the most pigmented of all the shades. gorgeous in the crease or even on its own all over the lid. You could also use this shade under the eye as well.

The lipsticks from her range are just gorgeous. The formula is so soft and creamy on the lips, feels moisturising and they last a really long time. They are not a full matte, but not a shine either so to be honest are just right. I really love them and have already ordered two more shades from her range as for $11.88 they are a bargain! The packaging also feels very luxurious and glam.

I bought Sunday Walk, Bear Hug and Birthday Cake. Sunday Walk and Bear Hug are part of this collection and what I love is that you can interchange the whole collection. Both lipsticks go with both eye palettes.

Bear Hug (left) – is a peach/brown nude colour and is really lovely. I found it can be a little light on me so I do wear it with a liner underneath and it looks fab.

Sunday walk (middle) – is a lovely rosy nude pink colour and is my favourite as these kind of colours are my everyday go too.

Birthday Cake – (right – not part of this collection) this shade is a light peachy pink colour which would be gorgeous on its own in spring/summer. For winter it is a bit too light for me, but when I put a liner underneath it is just perfect and I love it.

Overall, I highly recommend Tanya’s collection and love all of the products I have purchased so far…in fact when their was a sale the other day I bought a whole lot more of her other collections!

You can purchase any of these items here on Feel Unique they ship worldwide. Postage to Australia was $5 and took about 2 and a half weeks to arrive.
